Outstanding Gr.1 trotter I Can Doosit was the star of the show for today’s draw of the IRT Harness Jewels 2021 Supporter Package.
Breckon Farms’ pride and joy established a record setting 18-win sequence, with one of his 10 Gr.1 wins coming in the 2010 Harness Jewels 4YO Ruby. Given he won the said race, it seemed only too fitting when suggested by MASH’s Charlotte Mooney, that he should pick the winner of today’s draw for the final Gr.1 sponsor on IRT Harness Jewels Raceday.
To pick this winner, the now 15-year-old gelding needed to choose from one of 20 buckets, with each bucket representing a nominated supporter.
While things didn’t exactly go to plan, I Can Doosit eventually chose Garrards Horse and Hound, who Cambridge Raceway is now pleased to announce as their naming rights sponsor for the 2021 $100,000 Gr.1 Harness Jewels 4YO Ruby on IRT Harness Jewels raceday (June 6th).
