FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does ticketing work on the evening?
Ticketing information will be sent out to the person who made the booking. Please follow the directions sent to the booking person of your group. On arrival, you will be greeted at the entrance, tell our team your group name to be checked in and given a wristband.
Where can we park?
We are situated at 1 Taylor Street Cambridge. Parking passes are not required. If our main car park is full, you are welcome to park in our public car park across the road (car park b).
What is the dress standard?
Smart casual. Tidy jeans are fine!
Where can we get a race book and place a bet?
If race books are not included in your package they can be purchased from the bar for a gold coin donation. Totes will be accessible in each package zone.
What if it rains will the racing be cancelled?
No, we have an all-weather track and racing will continue rain, hail or shine.
Are refunds available?
Payment for your booking must be paid in full two weeks prior to the date of the function. Refunds are not available once you have purchased your ticket.
Can I bring my own gazebo or marquee on Xmas Eve?
**No sorry. This year patrons will need to purchase a private Christmas gazebo. Each gazebo will fit 8-10 people, with limited availability. You’re welcome to bring your own sun umbrella.
What time do gates open on Xmas Eve?
Gates will open at 1:30pm. The first race is scheduled for approximately 2:30pm and the last race is TBC.
What BYO can I bring on Xmas Eve?
This is our only race meeting (24/12) where BYO picnics and alcohol are permitted. Please refer to the Ts and Cs for more information.
What children's entertainment will there be on Xmas Eve?
The Cambridge Raceway lawn games, will be out and free to use, there will also be a last-minute visit from Santa and music.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Cambridge Raceway is required to advise you that all bring your own (BYO) packages (drinks, food and entertainment) do not imply a right to continued alcohol drinking should Cambridge Raceway be concerned signs of intoxication become evident. Alcohol will not be served to anyone intoxicated or under the age of 18. Cambridge Raceway has the right to confiscate any BYO alcohol should they be concerned intoxication becomes evident. * please note personal gazebos are strictly prohibited as the wrong placing of them can be dangerous.
