Kick off Christmas at the Raceway! Join us for a fantastic afternoon festive fun and harness racing. Xmas Eve at the Raceway is a Cambridge tradition that exceeds expectations.
Our only BYO event* of the year, this is a family friendly event with a relaxed vibe, free kids lawn games, music and a last minute visit from Santa before he dashes off to deliver all of the presents.
Enjoy one of our fabulous hospitality spaces (below) or set up your own space on the lawn**.
The Clubhouse Sports Bar and Tote Burger will also be open to the public with no bookings required.

Situated right on the finish line, this space sports spectacular views of the racing action and your own private bar and tote. Located on the top floor of our grandstand building the Presidents Lounge offers the best seats in the house for viewing of the live harness entertainment. With opportunities to tailor your package, this space is easy to make your own.

CORPORATE BOX
Ideal for groups of 15-50pax
Allow your guests to take in the spectacular views out across the lawns and racetrack while enjoying a drink from the private bar. Located on the top floor of our grandstand building our Corporate Box is perfect for hosting private groups with live harness entertainment. With opportunities to tailor your package, this space is easy to make your own.

SKYLINE LOUNGE
This large space has spectacular views of the lawns, track and beyond. Explore the best views in the house while enjoying the natural lighting and use of our bar facilities all in the comforts of air conditioning.

LAWN GAZEBO
Join us on the lawn in one of our popular gazebos, located trackside along the home straight, with access to prime viewing of the racing action and our onsite big screen.
The Lawn Gazebo package includes:

Reserved Gazebo that can seat up to 10 people
Access to betting facilities
Race books and pens for the table
Voucher for a burger and side of your choosing per person from our on site burger bar; Tote Burger

MOBILE BARRIER RIDES
Don't miss out on the chance to witness a harness race from a unique view point.
Immerse yourself in the action by joining the starter in the back of the mobile barrier car for the start of one of our races. These experiences are limited for each race meeting.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I bring my own gazebo or marquee?
A: No sorry. This year patrons will need to purchase a private Christmas gazebo. Each gazebo will fit 8-10 people, with limited availability.
Q: Can I bring my own sun umbrella?
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring your own umbrella.
Q: What time do gates open?
A: Gates will open at 1:30pm. The first race is scheduled for approximately 2:30pm and the last race is TBC
Q: What BYO can I bring?
A: This is our only race meeting where BYO picnics and alcohol are permitted. Please refer to the Ts and Cs for more information.
Q: What children's entertainment will be available?
A: The Cambridge Raceway lawn games, will be out and free to use, there will also be a last minute visit from Santa and music.

** please note personal gazebos are strictly prohibited as the wrong placing of these gazebos can obstruct TAB filming and guest viewing.
Although this is a BYO event please take note that some of our hospitality spaces on course do not permit BYO food and drinks in their spaces. Please choose your tickets carefully as we do not permit refunds once you have purchased your tickets.
